Glen Echo Nurseries is a family
owned and operated business in the heart of the
Caledon Hills. We are currently looking for a few
key people to start the 2008 season. We are a Retail
Nursery/Garden Centre and also a design office with
several construction crews.
Nursery Sales
Persons
- Minimum 2-5 years
experience in horticulture retail sales
- Working knowledge of
hardy ornamental trees, shrubs, evergreens and
perennials
- Outgoing and friendly
personality
- Must be available on
some evenings and weekends
- Must be able to promote
and participate in a team environment
Landscape
Designer
- Minimum 2 – 5 years
experience
- Must be familiar with
Planscape or Dynascape software
- Working knowledge of
hardy ornamentals, trees, shrubs, evergreens and
perennials
Landscape
Crew Foremen
- Minimum 2-5 years
experience working with natural stone and
interlocking pavers
- Must be able to work
well within a team environment and be a team
leader for your crew
- Must be able to read
plan drawings
- Assets would include:
DZ license, Crane and forklift training and some
plant material knowledge
